Our Products
Many workers rely on unregulated, high-cost lenders, trapping them in cycles of debt. Informal workers, like boda boda riders or market vendors, struggle to afford income-generating assets such as motorcycles or inventory. Moreover, traditional banking systems are slow, bureaucratic, and often exclude low-income or informal workers. We seek to address these gaps by ensuring that our products are tailored to meet specific needs.

Microfinance loans
Our Microfinance offers target civil servants (e.g., teachers, nurses), private sector employees, and entrepreneurs with a range of loan products, including paycheck loans, title deed loans, group loans, SACCO guarantor loans, and logbook loans. We provide them with flexible loans ranging from KE 10,000 to KES 300,000 disbursed swiftly through M-Pesa. Logbook and title deed loans are tied to the assessed value of the borrower’s assets, reducing risk for YCL while enabling larger loans. Where required, we also collaborate with Savings and Credit Co-operative Societies to provide guarantor-backed security, lowering default risks.

Boda Boda asset financing
This product targets boda boda riders helping them to transition from renting to owning motorcycles without struggle. YCL sources motorcycles of different makes on behalf of the clients making the process fast and seamless. With affordable repayment plans, insurance, and GPS tracking, we ensure financial security while boosting riders’ incomes and financial independence.

Market bond financing
Designed for market vendors and small traders such as mama mbogas and mitumba traders, who are typically excluded from formal credit systems. Loan sizes ranges from KES 10,000 – 100,000 with Mobile-based daily repayments via M-Pesa aligning with vendors’ cash flow patterns. Includes financial literacy training to promote sustainable business practices and long-term financial health.
